Purple & Gold.... & Black?!

THELAKERSNATION.COM: Imagine if the Lakers introduced an alternate black jersey, to occasionally wear on “big time” road games. How intimidating would the Lakers be marching into T.D. Banknorth Garden with a dominating black, trimmed with traditional purple and gold?

With strong talks of the Celtics introducing a new alternate jersey for home, (one that would be similar in design to their alternate away uniforms) nothing would be better for the Lakers than to introduce a new black jersey. (No design or print changed whatsoever)

Transformers 2 Review!!!!

Well at last the highly-anticipated sequel to the "Theres More Than Meets The Eye" Transformers saga. In my opinion, a well written and even better directed film, meeting all of the requirements the stereotypical sequel movie would have. The big controversy that pisses me off is rotten tomatoe's rating of 21%. Stupid "movie intellectual critics" grade on the craftiness of screenplay while totally disregarding the entertainment factor which Transformers scores an A+++. With kick-ass action scenes, an interesting plot which is more adventurous and devious than the prequel (something you never usually get) , and an even more-bulked up/heavy equiped Optimus Prime, how the hell can you score a 21 out of 100? Never mind, I quit, I would grade Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at least a 70%, dumbass critics forgot Megan Fox was in it. Hah.

Consumerism Speaks

As a world of consumers strive to purchase to keep economy and global welfare universally stable, people tend to routinely purchase the same things. For example, tobacco and alcohol count as one of the top 5 basic household items purhcased in mass amounts, right? With the history of substantial controversies these items pertain to with being purchased, adversity along with stereotypes come into play when someone is asked why they are purchasing these particular items. In my opinion, respective money should equal respective spending, in which who cares what people think of what you are currently buying. I mean fuck it, its America right? Anyways, great art work on the routine stereotypical opinions on such products.

The Hangover Review

With all the rave and raucus feedback this new rancid comedy has been getting, The Hangover has to be the three-amigo's of vegas-party flicks. With all of the jokes and random comedy the movie presents, along with the clue/mystery adventure story the characters go on to figure out the cause of the horrid result, this movie provides originality, comedy, and good film-making at its best. Yes, I'm endorsing it. The guy with the baby, Allan, is awesome. Oh yeah, stay for the credits, its hillarious.

Frisco Tweets

So this new-aged twitter trend has seriously blown up throughout the average household. Being subjective to authentic neighborhood use, the city of San Francisco implemented a new Twitter-based social networking system. So lets say you wanted to discover hints on what's going on nearby in the community, any new happenings, or need directions to somewhere, instead of making a phone call to a public service, why not just tweet? Not a tweeter myself, but admire this act of social administrators implementing popular internet fads as a use of helping society. Good shit.

More Money More Problems

In an attempt to finally quench the thirst of 98% of all Angelinos' hunger for another NBA championship from our beloved Lakers, this one may be hard to come by. As our country's current situation of being working under an economic recession, money is at less of an ease of expense, especially when it comes to celebrating. But by neglecting this public celebration of a long-awaited accomplishment by the very purple-and-gold warriors we all know and love, wouldn't this be a strike blow to the die hard and beloved citizens of this city? I don't think Jerry Buss has spent all of his cash at the jewelry stores for his tramps, and tickets at Staples are the highest out of all the country for a reason. If the Lakers bring the finals back to L.A. for the ticket expenses, NBA haters will just gain another reason to back their philosophy on a corrupt/money based America. Any who, I propose the city write a petition on a mandatory Laker parade. School is almost over, and kids need an actual legitimate excuse to ditch right? Please make this happen Mr. Buss.

MVPuppets

Haha, so I'm pretty sure everyone has been watching the Kobe and Lebron Nike Commercials. In contrary to my hatred for people's assumption of the cavs and lakers in the finals, these commercials are great. This one is hillarious.

"Lebron! You have over 20 triple-doubles, can I haaaaave onee?" - hahahahaha.

The Hills Rap-Up

Okay, so MTV's hit reality show not named The Real World has yet again ended another season, and this time possibly for good. As The Hills' LC has decided to make her permanent leave and move on from the show, The Hills is about to face a horrid trip back down hill (somewhat of what happened to Newport Harbor). I'm not here to write a review on the show and rate it or anything, I just wanted to point out how rich these motherfuckers get by being on this show. This shit is ridiculous. Can you believe ever since Lauren Conrad got picked up by the camera crew gang, thrown on screen, and appealed to almost every teen-age girl, her TV appearances alone has payed for her college tuition and the lifestyle she has now? Not to mention already having an above average welfare lifestyle in high school. I guess looking like that and appealing to such a crowd can get you payed by absolutely doing nothing. I suggest kids turn to this other than drug dealing and pro-sports. What the hell has this generation come to? (Or what the hell has MTV come to?)

CSN - Lets Have Sex Parody

Just a short & spontaneous clip we did. Brought to you by the CSN film crew (creating something out of nothing), this project was just our second in almost a year. Inspired by the shopping cart scene featured in the major production film "The Soloist" (if you've seen it you can relate) and added with a little teen-age ainxt by us, this made a whole 3 hours worth while. Hope you can enjoy.
