Sasha Vujacic cut from Slovenia National Team

Yo Sasha! What are you doing man?! First choking in all of the playoff last season, and now not even getting your act together to rep. your own country? I would just have to say you are the weakest link in the Laker locker room right now. I think you need more oil because the machine is broken, and the only thing best for both parties is a new shipment out of L.A. Any takers?

Vujacic.net: I wanted to reach out to all my fans and say hello.

Man, it is so good to be back in L.A.

Hah.

Drake - Killer ft. Nipsey Hussle

I'd like to comment on this for once (since usually I just post the track and vanish). Drake's first single since being signed to the Young Money crew, aka Lil Wayne's self proclaimed new generation of hip hop dynasty. This track clearly undermines Drake's talent as an artist, provides listeners with the same vague sound off any commercial radio rap artist, throws on another dead-end job known as nipsey something, and is simply plain whack. C'mon Drake, you can do better than this. Or is the young money signing just a part of your plot to move up the ladder through social networking and soon to one day become the next Hov? A man does have to get paid.

Inglourious Basterds

It seems as if this blog has been turned into a film critic's hide out, yet that would be contradicting the fact that this row of summer flick's have not fulfilled my hopes one bit. Finally a classic Tarantino film to budge all other summer blockbusters out of the way as Inglourious Basterds delivers a comic, thrill, and historical twist on the Nazi regime movement during WWI. As the runaway retribution story of a young jew girl and the urban legends of an undercover American team of Nazi hunters occupy the screen, Tarantino's spaghetti-western style completes this masterpiece. When you watch this flick you can easily expect the good, the bad, and the ugly of a worthy comedic summer-ending film. Yeah, Brad Pitt's been chewed out before.

Funny People

The long expected comedy flick to complete Apatow's trilogy has been nothing short of anticipation-satisfying, yet gives watchers a different twist on a drama blanketed by usual Rogen/Sandler comedy. In this film the outlying portrayal theme that plays the plot objective is to convince people that life isnt really what it seems to be, what better way to show that then a bunch of comedians being miserable? With a routine class act by Sandler and Rogen's comedic charm, Funny People was more of a Funny Soap Opera. With the lover's lesson theme "there was always that one that got away" and how Apatow portrays that it only takes an experience of getting "one foot in the door" and a glimpse at death to change your life, people will learn that at the end of the day, all you can do is laugh.

Phil Jackson Shoe-line

THELAKERSNATION.COM
:: O.C. Register: All the top players have line of shoes, so why not the NBA’s winningest coach?

Adidas is producing 15 pairs of kicks for the Lakers coach called the Phil Jackson Artillery shoe and it will come in two colorways — purple and gold (Lakers) and black and red (Bulls).

The shoes also will sport an “X”, which represents the number of titles Jackson has won.

The shoes look good in the drawings, certainly not senior-type shoes with rubber shoes or anything. There’s not even any velcro.

7th Floor West

Was introduced to this funny short office-sitcom series with a real-life cast playing as themselves when I caught a glimpse of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. In this short Jimmy starts each day trying to pursue his career of strengthening his acting buzz by grooming a late night talk show and keeping it alive. Yet there is a handful of scandals and drama on the seventh floor. With subtle and ingenious comedy, and the side roles of Black Thought and ?uestlove of the legendary hip-hop band The Roots, 7th floor west is gaining north of the late night humor scale.

BTW, catch Late Night Jimmy Fallon on NBC @ 12:35 AM.

Slower is Better

So it seems as if drunk driving, impaired driving, or just driving in general seems to be the number one trend in ways people tend to meet their fate. Teens are the number one target when it comes to enforcing driving knowledge and road smarts, as the numbers do show teens are public enemy number one on the victim list. Yet the buzz around the streets is that teens are so eager to get on the road and roll around in their benz's and shit, that street smarts are suddenly lost when they are out and about on the road. Just some propaganda to make you think twice. Hey, I'm a fan of this kind of shit, we can be lifesavers!

"its dope how females play the drums, and hit hard too"

Hip Hop's bad boy hero is up to some more t.v. moneymaking antics continuing his "Making the Band" dynasty that has occupied MTV's hip hop culture, but unlike the redundant failures his 15 minutes of fame projects have proven, this one seems to be working. With the premier of Puff's new joint on MTV titled "Making His Band", viewers finally get a chance to witness live music of all instruments unite in holy matrimony blessing many ears with jams that continue to lack in the modern day fiasco of commercial music. Its just so dope to watch as if you feel like youre at a concert, but don't forget that it is a competition. Good shit Diddy, you've finally captured my attention, and utilized the word "creativity" to it's right standards. Kudos.
