Laker Media Day!

So excited for this upcoming season. Let me go down the roster one by one and list the importance and role each player will be contributing as this fall/winter/spring.

5) Andrew Bynum - Big boy in the middle trying to negate all doubts and bad predictions of his game as the defending champs' center. Known to "choke" in big situations, Bynum's off-season training, along with his solid post game prodigal moves under Kareem is about to run a bust on these chumps.
4) Pau Gasol - Pau es Muy Fuego! The most under-rated all NBA First Team caliber forward in all of the league will earn his rights to be qualified under the likes of Nowitzki, Garnett, and Duncan as his solid fundamentals and sturdy defense will provide the backbone of the team which will guide us to the championship.
3) Ron Artest - The tough raging bull dog has arrived in Los Angeles safely and didn't just bring his nike's, but also brought his old school New York swagger, a smooth stroke from the outside, and the toughest, dirtiest, lock down defense to spunk up our front court.
2) Kobe Bryant - Mamba back to complete his Jordan-esque legend on the hardwood and defending his title of still obtaining the best talent in the league, and the greatest player on the planet.
1) Derek Fisher - Age aint nothin' but a numba! Fish is back to rejoin Kobe and the gang as the floor captain point guard guiding us game by game through the triangle. With above average locksmith defense, clutch three point shooting, the oldest man on the team brings his experience.

Bad News Bears on the Bench.

6) Lamar Odom - Back with his forever classy star hype, and now wed to a Kardashian, Lamar joins fellow NY native Artest and his Los Angeles loved team mates bringing his versatility and all-around game to the lights out staples center.
7) Jordan Farmar - The Los Angeles hometown-kid is back with #1 on his chest trying to beat the odds of claiming that starting position with the quickness.
8) Luke Walton - Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke! The play making size-able forward is ready to facilitate the triangle off the bench and promote team chemistry.
9) Sasha Vujacic - The Machine better be functioning this season as Sasha has a lot to prove after his horrid performance last post season. Now with a fresh hair cut and a self-proclaimed new outlook to the game, his streaky 3-point shooting should help us out.
10) Shannon Brown - Mr. Unexpected Shannon Brown fits perfectly off the bench as a point or shooting guard providing athleticism and great quick feet on the defensive end.
11) Josh Powell - Sturdy big man Powell has been reliable on the defensive end and ownage on the boards.
12) Adam Morrison - Show up year this year?
13) DJ Mbenga - Energy, Energy, Energy, the big man plays with all heart.

500 Days of Summer

A little late into the summer as I have finally fulfilled my ambition to be entertained by this summer love flick with a twist on reality road. As the routinely cliche romantic movies go, 500 days sets itself apart from the rest as it own uniqueness and originality compliments the whole theme of the movie. With dope music, steezy direction, and the urban bohemian vibe to the setting of a broken hearted man moving on, makes this summer joint to be worth watching. Oh and, the dance sequence was charmingly hillarious. Enjoy.

London Greenery

Seems as if this blog has turned into a greenpeace/treehugger's lounge, and I actually do take pride in that. Just another cool project to be checked out: London's Athenaeum Hotel. This hotel features 10 stories of 260 plant species, and rests as the tallest garden known in London. Not just your ordinary Paris to Tokyo tour stop, and definitely not an everyday come-by notion.

John Mayer Trio

Jumped from Gabe Bondoc to John Mayer as I got reminded of their similar styles. This dude's bringing the blues back, but where has he been recently? (Other than his plethora of random tweeting habbits)

Lykke Li

You might be familiar with this girl off of Drake's track "Little Bit" as the girl singing. Lykke Li is continuing to make her presence known to the American music world as a girl off the plane from sweden. Oh and, who would of thought this Swedish hipster girl could cover a tribe called quest?
