We get a first look at Lance Armstrong’s custom Trek District following up on Project STAGES that featured an impressive line up of custom Madone frames for Armstrong for the Tour de France with the likes of Damien Hirst, KAWS, Shepard Fairey, Marc Newson, and Yoshimoto Nara. This collaboration came about when both parties realized Armstrong didn’t have a great bike to just get out, ride and have fun with. We like to picture him going out to get milk with it. Known simply as the Lance District, it features Trek’s new carbon fibre District frame, carbon fiber composite yellow belt drive system and a few flashes of yellow on an otherwise stock frame. The word from Trek is that Lance is a huge fan, but having a hard time finding enough time away from training to actually be on a bike for fun as the team has started training camp this week. This isn't any other stoner comedy you have seen, and is uniquely shaped to not fit any category but its own. Infested with a teaching on the drug age in the 60's and 70's, creative edge in character, an infamous Las Vegas setting, and Johnny Depp portraying original gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson makes Fear and Loathing the total opposite of a spectator.

Apparently technology has been booming all over the face of the planet, and now being inducted into the deep depths of captain jack's seven seas. The production of aquatic animal robots seems to be the current fad in technological advances. In my opinion, this takes away the authentication of marine life, yet adds a plus to a new biological discovery. Or wait, industrial discovery? Either way, a step towards robotic life underwater imposes the danger of walking among human robots who look exactly like me. I'm scared.

But with America being far from financially stable (inspite of the recession) compared to some third world countries rotting in poverty, money spent on ADVERTISING meanless shit just dosen't seem that important to me. So I recently came across Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and found it to be quite flawless. The plot of re-living past memories was similar to 500 Days of Summer, and Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet both showed the different personalities in making this movie actually work. Didn't really dig Kate's forever changing hair color through out the story, but enjoyed Kirsten Dunst's immaturity in character portraying to little girls exactly how not to turn out. And she works for a company who tailors to clients with relationship problems. How convenient. Right?

2) Kobe Bryant - Mamba back to complete his Jordan-esque legend on the hardwood and defending his title of still obtaining the best talent in the league, and the greatest player on the planet.
1) Derek Fisher - Age aint nothin' but a numba! Fish is back to rejoin Kobe and the gang as the floor captain point guard guiding us game by game through the triangle. With above average locksmith defense, clutch three point shooting, the oldest man on the team brings his experience.

8) Luke Walton - Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke! The play making size-able forward is ready to facilitate the triangle off the bench and promote team chemistry.
9) Sasha Vujacic - The Machine better be functioning this season as Sasha has a lot to prove after his horrid performance last post season. Now with a fresh hair cut and a self-proclaimed new outlook to the game, his streaky 3-point shooting should help us out.

As the routinely cliche romantic movies go, 500 days sets itself apart from the rest as it own uniqueness and originality compliments the whole theme of the movie. This track clearly undermines Drake's talent as an artist, provides listeners with the same vague sound off any commercial radio rap artist, throws on another dead-end job known as nipsey something, and is simply plain whack. It seems as if this blog has been turned into a film critic's hide out, yet that would be contradicting the fact that this row of summer flick's have not fulfilled my hopes one bit. Finally a classic Tarantino film to budge all other summer blockbusters out of the way as Inglourious Basterds delivers a comic, thrill, and historical twist on the Nazi regime movement during WWI. As the runaway retribution story of a young jew girl and the urban legends of an undercover American team of Nazi hunters occupy the screen, Tarantino's spaghetti-western style completes this masterpiece. When you watch this flick you can easily expect the good, the bad, and the ugly of a worthy comedic summer-ending film. Yeah, Brad Pitt's been chewed out before.

With a routine class act by Sandler and Rogen's comedic charm, Funny People was more of a Funny Soap Opera. With the lover's lesson theme "there was always that one that got away" and how Apatow portrays that it only takes an experience of getting "one foot in the door" and a glimpse at death to change your life, people will learn that at the end of the day, all you can do is laugh.

In this short Jimmy starts each day trying to pursue his career of strengthening his acting buzz by grooming a late night talk show and keeping it alive. Yet there is a handful of scandals and drama on the seventh floor. With subtle and ingenious comedy, and the side roles of Black Thought and ?uestlove of the legendary hip-hop band The Roots, 7th floor west is gaining north of the late night humor scale.

Take your cliche romantic film, add a little raunchy/sexual comedy, and throw in the versatile king leonidas (Gerard Butler) in a role as the ideal alpha male, and a promising actress (Katherine Heighl) who delivers time after time playing a dominant female role in a history of movies with the stereotypical male dogs, and you get this lovely piece of work. In spite of the continuous under-rating of those moron movie "intellectual" heads over at rotten tomatoes, this movie is infested with sick, average, guy sexual jokes yet tweaked with the charm of a simple fall-in-love romance you find yourself walking into a theatre featuring a cross between The Notebook and Wedding Crashers. Either way you know what youre getting yourself into, a cute love flick, or a good two hours worth of laughter you'd never expect. Ditto.

So all of this hype the past few weeks about the Nike video confiscation scandal of prince James (word to Skip Bayless) being dunked on has finally been solved to the wondering public. And one word describes the outcome, disappointing. With all of the hype and excitement the media has rattled this topic up about Lebron getting dunked on was perhaps made to cover up the real disappointment, Nike's fail pride in confiscating such footage of a scrimmage game to protect their number one endorsement. Cleveland's king's opinion on this matter was no where to be found, and left a negative connotation to the public in a catch-22 manner: he was either too embarrased to comment on the issue, or just had nothing to say about it. Either way, the only positive thing to note from this bravado of thrill was the collegiate student who was expected to receive fame from dunking on the "king" reacted as if nothing happened. I guess Bron Bron would have benefited from not skipping college, eh?

So the very likeable/cherishable ABC family channel who's known for having programs that touch the heart and provide a sense of unity in family relatable by many people across the nation, has a hit new show that isn't all what families have to be proud of. Teenage sex. Although having a strong theme behind strength in family, family orientation, and sticking to the motto "blood is thicker than water" this family-based show seems to justify and promote underage sex. Personally I dont disagree or defy any of the messages this show is trying to send through viewers across the nation, but I notice a sense of controversy in the show's screenplay and advertisements. Throughout the show it seems as if they throw the word "sex" out about 10x in every scene, and is somewhat the central thesis of the program. But usually in every commercial break or after every episode the producers put in a 20 second infomercial on the cast promoting teen-age abstinence. I don't know what to think, but as much as I want to quit watching the show, I cant.

NBA.COM::Houston Rockets star Tracy McGrady will swap his No. 1 uniform number for No. 3.

McGrady's old number will go to new teammate Trevor Ariza, the Lakers forward who agreed to a multiyear deal with Houston on July 2.

McGrady wore No. 3 in high school. He is making the switch to promote his humanitarian efforts in the Darfur region of the Sudan and a documentary on his summer 2007 visits to refugee camps in the region. The documentary, "3 Points," is set for release this fall. The title refers to goals of peace, protection and punishment.

McGrady has donated $75,000 to a humanitarian project in Darfur. He had microfracture surgery on his left knee in late February. Doctors say he needs up to 12 months to recover.

Okay, once this little project caught my eye, I was sold. I am a big fan of genius/innovative propaganda in simple product advertising such as coffee-shop goods. This gourmet coffee-shop uses the "talks to you" technique in putting labels on all their items that speak out to the consumer. Also loving the comedic slap in the face to Starbucks with its coffee-cup sleeves. This just might be my new favorite coffee-joint. Okay, I'm enjoying this too much, I need to grab some of their napkins and literally "wipe that smile off my face".

Reality TV + Food = Great Television

Given, I am an avid fan of reality television and support the entertainment provided by it, in contrary to many television watchers out there. To many, reality television defeats the purpose in the sense of "sitcom", and just isn't good enough as the daily channel 5 news. Reality TV has really been over shadowed by shows portraying lives of rich white kids, celebrities, and figures in pop culture who have become famous because of their mistakes. What most people don't notice is food network's The Next Food Network Star. This reality-game show is a contest of a selected amount of aspiring t.v. chef's competing for the opportunity to have their own program on one of the two only channels on cable television that appreciates the quality of food. This in my opinion is reality t.v. at its finest. Original in that it is helping out aspiring people achieve their professions, Exciting in that people get cut based on how good their food tastes, and Dope in that who would have thought that a bunch of people cooking food can entertain 100000+ people enough to tune into next week's broadcast. I admit, it got me hooked.

As Queensbridge's finest Ron Artest inked the deal to a guaranteed championship in the bright and beautiful city of Los Angeles, the choice of what outrageous number to wear on this year's jersey has to come special of L.A.'s magical nature. In consideration and tribute to his musical legend, Ron Artest is choosing to wear number 37 this year on his chest. It represents how many weeks Thriller has stayed number one when it was first released to the public by the man in the mirror. So thanks Michael, and thanks Ron, bad-reputated guys are really recognized for good deeds in the long run.

YESSSSSSSS. John Dillinger is bad ass. Summer's biggest blockbuster we've been waiting for has finally come. This ridiculously awesome gangster flick has solemnly justified bank robbing, defying all moral values, and added a comedic touch to portraying Dillinger's life. With an always perfect and strong performance by Johnny Depp, you really can't see the difference between Dillinger and Captain Jack. With very well directed action scenes and not to mention an underated love story in the midst of escaping from coppers every scene, Public Enemy #1 follows exactly as the tale goes, it definitely is most wanted.

So much off-season drama already in the NBA, and as the old saying goes, "As soon as one door closes, another one opens." As fan-favorite and newest hometown hero Trevor Ariza dismisses any chances of re-signing with the championship Lakers, he turns to venture on his quest for more fortune in a business-first based league. In search of a 9million dollar salary, he learns to find out to be settled with a 6 million dollar contract. Guess what? About the same amount the Lakers offered him. But because basketball is still a business, and the influence of agents, Trevor Ariza won't be seeing another championship for the next 5 years. While Ron Artest gets to bask under the L.A. sun and perform some of his album shit at next year's parade. Thanks for letting us all down Trev., but it's all good, you will be "appreciated" in Houston.
